Data Biome

Data Biome is based on methane emissions data analysis done when working for Agriculture Victoria Research. Keith Savin is developing a probiotic for cows that will reduce their methane output by slightly altering their digestion metabolism, utilising bacterial species naturally found in the rumen of cows. Initially, the customers will be dairy farmers wanting to reduce their on-farm greenhouse gas emissions.
